CONNECTING INDIVIDUALS
WHY MAKE A DONATION?
Thanks to your donations, we work day after day to:
-
Create link and build bridges between Brusselians and newcomers (refugees, asylum seekers, undocumented people)
-
Enable newcomers to regain confidence in themselves and in their abilities.
-
Change the way people look at migration, combat prejudice and discover the wealth and added value of a multicultural society based on solidarity.

With your support, our actions have an impact:

90% of the newcomers say they have met locals via SINGA.
75% of the newcomers felt alone when they arrived in Belgium.
70% of the locals admit they recognise the potential of newcomers.
66% of the locals feel that they have changed the way they look at newcomers.

“After our second or third SINGA activity, my buddy and I went for a drink in a café. We started talking, asking each other questions and telling our personal stories. I could see that my buddy was genuinely interested, which gave me confidence and I gradually confided in her. It was a really lovely moment. I'll never forget SINGA because it's thanks to the association that I was able to integrate in Belgium."
